Q: How long will it take to get my plotter?
A: Delivery time can vary depending on where we must ship the plotter from and the current demand for certain models. It takes approximately 1-2 business days to prepare your plotter for shipment. For our reburbished plotters, many times we have the model you want in stock and can ship it directly from one of our centers. At times, demand can be high for certain refurbished plotter models, so it may take us a few days to acquire one from our suppliers or to complete the refurbishment on one in stock. New plotters can usually be shipped either from stock or will be shipped directly from Hewlett Packard.
Q: What does 'Refurbished Plotter' mean?
A: Refurbished plotter means that the plotter has been thoroughly inspected and has been determined to be up to manufacturer's specifications. All Refurbished Plotters are tested with roll feed, sheet feed, diagnostics, functionality, and workability. Our refurbished Hewlett Packard plotters are inspected, and repaired if necessary, by HP Authorized technicians.

A: We have built relationships with HP repair representatives and facilities across the U.S. If we can't help you resolve the problem through our Help Desk or over the phone, then we call upon our Hewlett Packard repair resources closest to your location to assist you.

Q: Can I really be printing within 30 minutes?
A: We all have different technical skills when it comes to computer equipment. Your plotter will have already been inspected and tested before it has been approved for sale and shipping. Once you have all of your packages from Plotter4U, you should have almost everything needed to setup your Plotter. By following the instructions with your packages and our step by step audio pages, you should be able to setup your Plotter and begin printing within 30 minutes. This means the plotter has been assembled and the software drivers for the plotter have been installed on your computer.
Sorry, we cannot make any claims about printing from your software programs as we have no control over these factors.
Please take notice of two important pre-requisites regarding our claim. First, you must first have ALL of the packages shipped from Plotter4U before you begin. And second, depending on your computer system, you may have to download the correct software drivers from the Hewlett Packard site.
Q: I purchased the HP Designjet 650, but don't have the manuals and can't find them on the Hewlett Packard site. Where can I get the HP Designjet 650 manuals?
A: We have become aware of this problem and are providing these in PDF format for you to download. Go to the HP Designjet 650C product page and download the files linked on the bottom of the page.
Q: I have received my plotter, but don't have the manuals or drivers yet. When can I expect them?
A: Many times, your plotter will be shipped from a different warehouse than the manuals, CDs, inks, and paper. So, the arrival times may differ. If you haven't received your manuals or CDs yet (for our refurbished plotters), call us and we will send you a link to our Technical information pages where you can download your manuals and drivers. Usually, you will have already received an email with the link to our Plotter Tech pages.
