using HP color layering and up to 1200 dpi resolution.
1 Ultimate line quality, with lines as thin
as 0.002 in. (0.05 mm) and an accuracy of +/- 0.2%, is
the result of minuscule drops and continuous ink flow.
Many more colors are available per printed dot as the
printer layers different color ink drops over each other
to create new colors. |

Unattended Printing

The printer can work unattended with
its off-axis, 69-cc ink cartridges, long-life printheads,
150-ft (45-m) media rolls, automatic cutting, and
stacking of finished prints in the media bin [optional
on the 24-inch (61-cm) model].
The ink cartridges have
almost double the ink capacity of previous HP ink
cartridges in this category, and printheads last through
five to six ink-cartridge changes on average, depending
upon usage.
